2In the 21st century, the apparel industry is changing at an ever more rapid pace.
Today, when people are beginning to choose their fashion based on quality over quantity, and, further, when expressing one’s individuality has come to be seen as an important aspect in fashion, the needs of the apparel industry have become truly diverse.
In order to accurately respond to these diversifying needs and with a focus on the global market, Osaka Plastic Industries has developed its business on a worldwide level. As part of this, to date we have established international bases in Hong Kong and Vietnam. Making maximum use of the strengths of these overseas locations has enabled us to achieve the production of high quality products at low cost, and to establish a system which enables us to quickly and reliably deliver products which meet any and all needs to any and all locations. In addition, even as we have engaged in business globally, we have also developed our business so that we can meet the increasingly bipolarized needs seen in the fashion industry in recent years.

In order to firmly establish Japan’s position as a global fashion leader, we extensively harness the distinctively refined manufacturing techniques and technologies of the technology powerhouse that is Japan, delivering high quality, high value products to our customers. Going forward, we intend to further devote ourselves to both of these two strengths, combining the high quality product manufacturing capabilities of our international bases with the detailed and highly original products we make in Japan in order to engage in manufacturing which is able to provide for all price ranges.
Founded in 1897, we have survived the pre- and post-war periods and the late 20th century and are now moving on into the future. We will continue to put forth maximum effort in order to catch cutting-edge trends and provide buttons which meet the needs of today’s fashions and markets.
